The implants in the Initial C range are designed for fracture fixation, delayed unions, pseudarthrosis, and osteotomies of the clavicle in adults.
To effectively respond to the different fracture types encountered, Newclip Technics has combined the Alians Clavicle S range of implants with its expertise in single-use sterile kits to produce Initial C, to treat simple and complex clavicle fractures.
The plate, screws, and associated devices are combined in a single ready-to-use kit. It means surgeons and healthcare personnel can reduce the time taken to treat cases. As a result, patient rotation becomes more efficient within the operating room, making its use more efficient.
Initial C comes in 16 kits, covering different plate models for midshaft and distal third (lateral plates) fractures, to provide a complete treatment solution.

Initial C kits consist of implants and instrumentation for clavicle fractures. These kits include a plate size, screws (locking and non-locking), a quick-coupling drill bit, a screwdriver, pins, a length gauge, a threaded guide gauge, and a guide gauge handle.
16 kits are available, including:
- Bendable or non-bendable plates for midshaft fractures, asymmetrical, for the right and left side
- Lateral plates, asymmetrical, for the right and left side, designed for distal third fractures
For superior osteosynthesis of lateral fractures, Initial C offers 6 kits:
- Lateral plate kits, size 1 and size 2, asymmetrical, for the right and left side
- Bendable lateral plate kits, size 2, asymmetrical, for the right and left side
This plates are equipped with:
- Polyaxial holes for Ø2.8 mm locking screws (in the distal area)
- Oblong holes for Ø3.5 mm non-locking screws
- Holes for Ø3.5 mm locking screws and Ø3.5 mm non-locking compression screws (in the proximal area)
For superior osteosynthesis of medio-lateral fractures, Initial C offers 4 kits:
- Lateral midshaft plate kits, size 1 and size 2, asymmetrical, for the right and left side
