The implants in the Stand-Alone Screws range are intended for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies, and bone arthrodeses in adults, suitable for the size of the device.
Newclip Technics has developed a comprehensive range of screws and instruments for foot surgery, and more specifically, surgery for the treatment of hallux valgus. The Footmotion Screws range includes partially threaded cannulated screws, with or without a head, ranging from Ø2.25 mm to Ø4.0 mm:
– A Ø2.0 mm break-off screw dedicated to Weil osteotomies; a beveled Ø3.5 mm screw designed for minimally invasive approaches, used in combination with percutaneous burrs; and to complete the offer, stainless steel staples.
The Footmotion Screws range stands out, among other things, for its patented “3-in-1” instrumentation and its single-use sterile kits (INITIAL S FOOT), which allow adaptation to all needs and practitioner preferences.
Our solutions for the forefoot.

Three diameters of self-tapping, self-drilling and self-compressive cannulated screws are available:
- Ø2.25 mm, L10 mm to L34 mm, cannulated for a Ø0.8 mm pin
- Ø2.6 mm, L10mm to L40mm, cannulated for a Ø1.0 mm pin
- Ø3.0 mm, L10 mm to L40 mm, cannulated for a Ø1.0 mm pin
- Hexalobe format
The screws are available in a non-sterile version (Footmotion kit) or sterile version (S-box single packaging).
The screws can be used with standard reusable instrumentation (Footmotion Screws kit) or with our single-use sterile kit (INITIAL S FOOT: for more information, please visit the relevant page).

The Footmotion range also offers two diameters of self-drilling compression screws with a short thread:
- Ø3.5 mm
- Ø4.0 mm
The two screws have hexagonal format

Ø2.0 mm snap-off screw with self-drilling and self-tapping end. The screw head is also self-drilling, allowing partial burial of the screw head.
The proximal part (screw) detaches from the non-implanted part (rod) as soon as the head comes into contact with the bone. This minimizes the use of the screwdriver (but it is available if necessary)
The screwdriver can also be used for ablation
These screws are available in lengths from 11 mm to 15 mm.
They have a hexagonal format

Newclip Technics offers a comprehensive solution dedicated to percutaneous forefoot surgery. This solution includes:
- A complete range of percutaneous burrs dedicated to forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot surgery.
The burrs are available in straight or helical versions from Ø2.0 mm to Ø4.0 mm, with cutting lengths from 8 mm to 30 mm, effectively covering the various needs inherent to this type of surgery.
- A Ø3.5 mm cannulated self-compressing screw with a chamfered head, specifically developed for the percutaneous treatment of hallux valgus. It features a 45° bevel at the threaded head.
This screw is available in reusable version (within the Footmotion S kit) or sterile (single sterile packaging S-box). The screws can be used with standard reusable instrumentation (Footmotion S) or with our single-use sterile solution (INITIAL S EVO, for more information feel free to visit the dedicated page).
- A targeting guide, G•Halva, specifically designed for use with the chamfered head screw in percutaneous hallux valgus surgery. Its unique asymmetrical design makes it compatible with both left and right feet and is intended for unidimensional use. It features an adjustable and incremental arc for systematic targeting of the first metatarsal head (please visit the dedicated page for more information).
- A set of associated instruments is also offered for soft tissue management during this surgical approach (blade holder, beaver, elevator, rasps…).
Newclip Technics is committed to supporting surgeons in learning this minimally invasive approach, which offers long-term benefits for patients.1,2.

Key features of the Footmotion Screws range.
- A 3-in-1 instrument per screw diameter allowing for cortical preparation (reamer), length measurement (differential gauge), and screw insertion (screwdriver).
- Shared instrumentation for Ø2.6 mm and Ø3.0 mm screws for easier use: single guide wire, drill bit, reamer, and screwdriver.
- A complete solution dedicated to percutaneous surgery: burrs, chamfered head screw, G•Halva targeting guide, and associated instruments.
- A break-off screw specifically designed for Weil osteotomies.
- Single-use instrumentation (INITIAL S EVO) available for cannulated screws, break-off Weil screws, and chamfered head screws.
