The subtalar arthroereisis screws from the Initial F SiTa range are designed for the surgical treatment of hyperpronated feet.
Arthroereisis is a surgical procedure designed to limit subtalar eversion by inserting a wedge into the sinus tarsi. This helps realign the calcaneus into varus and restore talocalcaneal divergence.
The Initial F SiTa instrumentation kit includes all the instruments and templates intended exclusively for orthopedic surgery, specifically for the implantation or removal of Newclip Technics subtalar screws.
The screws are not included in the Initial F SiTa kit but are available separately in sterile single-unit packaging (S-box). Single-use kits offer numerous advantages, particularly in terms of traceability and safety, by reducing the risk of contamination(1) and bacterial biofilm formation(2). They enhance surgical efficiency by lowering operative costs(3) and perioperative time(4) while improving workflow(4). Their quick identification and intuitive use also facilitate the work of operating room teams.
Our sterile solution : INITIAL F SITA.

The Initial F SiTa kit includes instrumentation for the insertion of subtalar arthroereisis screws to correct hyperpronated feet. This kit includes:
- 5 radiopaque plastic templates of different sizes. These templates correspond to the 5 sizes of subtalar arthroereisis screws. The template helps to choose the appropriate implant size based on the desired correction.
- Two Ø2.0mm pins, each 250mm long.
- A screwdriver consisting of a handle and a cannulated threaded rod. This assembly ensures secure locking by turning the rod. Additionally, the cannulated design allows the rod to be placed onto the pin previously positioned in the tarsal canal.
- A dilator compatible with the screwdriver, designed to widen the sinus tarsi canal before inserting the templates and implant.
The screws are not included in the Initial F SiTa kit but are available separately in a sterile version (S-box).

Screw Specifications:
- Titanium alloy grade 5 screws
- Cannulated, guided by a pin
- Range of 5 implants from Ø8.0mm to Ø12.0mm (1mm increments) corresponding to the templates included in the kit
- Hexalobe T40 drive
- Monobloc connection between the device and the screwdriver
