Footmotion S is Newclip’s next-generation comprehensive foot screw portfolio. Designed for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies, and arthrodeses in adults. It addresses forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot surgical needs through a complete range of screw diameters and designs tailored to different surgical applications.
Developed to meet current foot surgery practices, the range brings together under a single identity solutions adapted to various indications and surgical techniques. The implants feature a hexalobe screw recess and are accompanied by dedicated instrumentation designed to address the anatomical and mechanical constraints of the different regions of the foot, while providing a consistent product range within the operating room.
Discover the Footmotion S solutions for small and large diameters.
- Ø2.25 mm, lengths from 10 mm to 34 mm, cannulated for a Ø0.8 mm guide wire
- Ø2.6 mm, lengths from 10 mm to 34 mm, cannulated for a Ø1.0 mm guide wire
- Ø3.0 mm, lengths from 10 mm to 40 mm, cannulated for a Ø1.0 mm guide wire
Ø2.0mm snap-off screw dedicated to Weil osteotomy, featuring self-drilling and self-tapping properties.
The screw head is also self-drilling, allowing partial countersinking within the bone.
The proximal section (screw) automatically separates from the non-implantable section (shaft) as soon as the screw head contacts the bone, minimizing the need for screwdriver use (while remaining available if required).
The screwdriver may also be used for screw removal.
These screws are available in lengths ranging from 11 mm to 15 mm.
Newclip Technics offers a comprehensive solution dedicated to percutaneous forefoot surgery.
This solution includes:
- A complete range of percutaneous burrs dedicated to forefoot, midfoot, and hindfoot surgery
- The burrs are available in straight or helical versions from Ø2.0 mm to Ø4.0 mm, with a cutting length from 8 mm to 30 mm, to effectively cover the various needs inherent to this surgery.
- A Ø3.5 mm self-compressing cannulated screw with a beveled head, specifically developed for the treatment of hallux valgus by percutaneous surgery. It features a 45° bevel on the threaded head.
- This screw is available in a reusable version (in the Footmotion S kit) or sterile (individual S-box packaging). The screws can be used with standard reusable instrumentation (Footmotion S) or with our single-use sterile solution (INITIAL S EVO – Foot, for more information please visit the dedicated page).
- A targeting guide, G•Halva, specially designed for use with the beveled screw for percutaneous hallux valgus surgery. Its unique asymmetrical design makes it compatible with both the left and right foot and intended for unidimensional use. It features an adjustable and incrementable arc for systematic targeting of the 1st metatarsal head (for more information please visit the dedicated page).
- An associated range of instruments is also offered for soft tissue management during this surgical approach (blade holder, beaver, elevator, rasps…).
Newclip Technics aims to support surgeons in learning this minimally invasive approach, which provides long-term benefits for the patient(1)(2).
